Tim Williams and Jason Ellis met while working for the Idaho Stampede professional basketball team. Jason was the team's starting forward and Tim the team's resident physical therapist. After moving in different directions, they reunited several years later in attempt to bring a comprehensive sports performance and physical therapy center to the Treasure Valley.

After a year and a half of planning, Rock and Armor was opened on September 2, 2014 in Meridian, Idaho. After a successful first three years, Jason left rock and Armor to pursue other passions, and Tim and his wife, Laura, became sole owners of the business. Rock and Armor encompasses the values, integrity, morals, and customer service that was the foundation of Jason and Tim's lives, and continues in their passions today. It is a family run business that exudes a warmth when you enter its doors, while insistent on excellence from team members and clientele.
